Tired Chef

Asshole Dog

Being the kind souls that we are, the chef & I watched my bro's new puppy overnight. It did not go well. Potato wanted to eat him for breakfast. And lunch. And dinner. Vito just seethed. I swear you could see steam coming out of his ears everytime Socks [yes that is his name] came around. To really make matters worse, Socks the puppy was not housebroken nor did he like to sleep anywhere but Catcher's bed. Which Catcher was not having. Needless to say we are not getting another dog anytime soon.

Bravo on the Prius and the cloth diapers!

My hubby and I love our Prius. We gave up some of the creature comforts of our previous car for a Prius but low emissions and 44 mpg (our average) means a great deal to a couple that puts between 30 and 40 thousand miles a year on a car!

Disposable diapers are nasty! The fact that they are so wasteful is one issue but more importantly, who wants that chemically treated paper crap against their baby's skin let alone the silicone crap the put in the diapers for absorbency. It scares me to think what that might do to children's bottoms and reproductive organs.

BTW, cloth is good for Mommy too! I switched from disposable feminine care products to cloth re-usable ones and I feel so much better when "that" time comes.

Albums sound WAY better than CD's.

I don't get the Prada bag. Why buy into the consumerism especially given all the other things you are so aware of?

I'm not really buying into the consumerism. I am a fan of fashion and I dug the bag. I rarely spend any dough on myself and this Christmas I felt that I deserved something I loved.
