I'm Sleeping with a Rising Star

The long list of James Beard Awards 2008 nominees have just been announced, via distribution to Beard judges. Voting has begun. Only Gramercy Tavern and Jean Georges made the cut for Outstanding Restaurant, one of the most prestigious awards given out at the show. And three New Yorkers—Wesley Genovart of Degustation, Gavin Kaysen of Café Boulud, and Ryan Skeen of Resto— have a chance at Rising Star Chef, won last year by one David Chang.
